would’ve wrote it down
if i’d known it mattered
would’ve come around
had i known the address
would’ve helped you out
if i knew you weren’t feeling well
if i knew i would blame myself
i won’t tell if you don’t tell
what’s going on?
the screen has cut to static
what’s going wrong?
the machine is automatic
why sing the song?
if it gets lost in the pacific
if you don’t know it’s ballad
a love song for the ages
despite how short they’ll be
where have you been at?
no one has to answer
can you make it back?
to listen to my banter
did you think it’d last?
if we are the only disaster
if something else has to clean up after
i occur when you occur
i’d write it down if it mattered

An absolutely stellar album that crosses boundaries and borders I didn’t know needed crossing. Water From Your Eyes is easily one of my favorite bands after discovering them and this record has been endlessly replayable thus far. dragic27
