lyrics
it’s strange being on the inside of the
outside, my body is in circles
it’s fine, i see outside the fishbowl
it’s mine, i don’t mind, it’s not like
i can’t see the rest
they’re just like what i see
they’re inside my head
it’s everything to me
we change and things always seem to get untied, i trip over my feet again
it’s fine, i’ll say something else to them tonight, i don’t mind, it’s not like
i can walk away
from everything i see
it’s inside my head
it’s everything to me
i can change my thoughts
but i can’t change what they mean so i pretend that i forgot
and keep staring out blankly

An absolutely stellar album that crosses boundaries and borders I didn’t know needed crossing. Water From Your Eyes is easily one of my favorite bands after discovering them and this record has been endlessly replayable thus far. dragic27

Dammit every track makes me smile. How did you do that? If a friend recommends this album to you, hang on to them because they're just as fabulously messed up as you are. I'd like to thank my bank for allowing me to buy things online again. Thank you. Everyone. Thanks. duskbringer
Toronto rivals San Francisco as the North American capital of jangle pop as evidenced by this new record of sunny jams from the Motorists. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 16, 2024
